Retry logic checks the same location multiple times. If that location has a network issue, retries will keep failing. PingPanda checks from geographically diverse locations simultaneously, so a regional network issue won't trigger a false alarm.

Yes. Visitors to your status page can subscribe to email notifications. When you create, update, or resolve an incident, subscribers are notified automatically.

Yes, on Business and Enterprise plans. Set up rotation schedules so the right person gets alerted at the right time. Includes escalation policies if the primary contact doesn't acknowledge within a set time.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. We don't store your website content — only status metadata (response codes, response times, timestamps). Your monitoring data is yours.
